Grocery Store Week!

It was grocery store week at Allyson's preschool. Last Wednesday Britt and I "helped" and enjoyed watching Allyson shop for groceries and then eat in a "restaurant." It was a little surreal as I remember going to grocery store week when Nicole was in preschool... and she's already in 2nd grade!

People donated empty bottles and boxes of just about anything you'd find in a grocery store.

Allyson got to do her own shopping (although I did try to guide her into thinking about what a healthy choice might be... as she was grabbing Frosted Flakes, boxed mac & cheese and frozen pizzas, lol!)

She decided she needed this entire basket of veggies.

Daddy was cashier.

Next it was time to go to the restaurant.

Her teacher, Mrs. Crabtree is in the pink sweatshirt. She was also Nicole's teacher. We all love her.

Allyson was an enthusiastic eater.

But she also enjoyed doing the dishes.
