I was getting something out of the laundry room when Allyson came in holding something. She asked me what it was. She was holding the syrup. We make our own syrup and keep it in a small container which can be opened rather easily. I immediately told her to put it back.
Only a couple of seconds had passed before I realized I had just asked my two-year-old to put syrup on a shelf. I ran to the pantry to find her standing in front of it. I asked her where it was. "Right Dere." She pointed to the floor and, sure enough, syrup was everywhere. Frustrated, I ordered her to go sit down while I cleaned it up. This is how I found her after I was finished.
