Nicole sings National Anthem at Springfield Cardinals Game

Nicole joined Hitmakers, a school choir this year. She's really enjoyed some fun opportunities, including singing the National Anthem at a Springfield Cardinals game this year.

Here is the choir, along with another school choir, walking toward home plate.

You better believe I ran down to home plate for some close-ups!

With Louie, the Cardinal's mascot.

The kids were trying to correct the announcer who only mentioned McBride school's name and not David Harrison's but the music sang and they just went with it!

The plan was we would all watch the game together. But ... SOMEONE ... was a little antsy.

Actually, Allyson wasn't too interested in watching the game, either. Even though we had a big patio area with rocking chairs!! The girls found this playground and that was the end of sports for me. I spent the rest of the evening here. But Britt had a great time!

Allyson was having such a great time she waited just a little too long to go to the bathroom. What do you do when your 6-year-old has a potty accident at a baseball stadium? Head for the fan shop and buy a big t-shirt. She was pretty happy with her new "dress/pj/shirt."

We all did get to enjoy the fireworks.

And Mallory had a nice ride on Daddy's shoulders back to the car.
