Pet Sitting

So, our friends from California are driving to L.A. for their oldest daughter's wedding. They'll be gone a week and a half. And we got suckered into watching their dog, Kirby, and two rabbits, Lily and Sassy. (Sassy because she's, well, sassy.)

I wasn't super excited about it, especially when I had gotten a yucky cold and didn't really want another thing to take care of. But, it's been surprisingly uneventful so far. We even brought the rabbits in for some exercise.

Britt carried Sassy.

Lily is the most amazing rabbit I've ever seen. Doug and Sarah's kids are about the same age as ours. Holland is 7 and Darcy is almost 5. Holland carries this rabbit around like a rag doll. She takes it on the swing with her. And the rabbit never flinches! It's hilarious. Best. Rabbit. In. The. World.

    Love the pictures of the girls (and Britt :)) holding the bunnies! Kirby is pretty cute too. I think that's the kind of dog Mom has always wanted. Maybe Kirby should go missing...

    Thank you for writing such swell things about our pets...and thank you for your offer to watch them again. You know we'll take you up on it. The rabbits look HUGE in your photos...they're not that big are they? Hugs!
