We were so excited to go to the doctor last week to get Allyson's cast taken off. Dad took pictures of everyone's well wishes. The "Play Hard or Go Home" was Daddy's funny contribution.
Lexi is the daughter of our life group leader and she babysits. Oh, and they're the ones who gave us the trampoline. You can't see it but somewhere Lexi's mom, Holly, wrote "sorry" on the cast. Ha Ha.
Nicole's friend, America, signed it. Older brother, Jonathan did, too but you can't really see it here.
I was absolutely dumbfounded when he informed us he was taking the cast off in order for us to x-ray her arm but then he would have to put a second (or, in our case, third) cast back on for another three weeks!!
Allyson does NOT like the "saw" he uses to cut it off. We know since he already had to cut one off (the original pink cast got wet in the tub after having it on for just two days.).
This time she picked out purple. So far she's had red (that was last year when she had a cast put on her leg for 24 hours... it was deemed not broken and so came off the next day), pink, blue, and now purple. We're hoping not to get through their entire line of colors.
All gauzed up and ready for some color!
She still loves Dr. Sponenberg. And his stethescope.
