On our final day we said goodbye to our tent-camping neighbors from Kentucky.

After we packed up we headed to Moonshine Beach. This is the only sand beach around and, while it's definitely not the California ocean, it's nice to enjoy some sand and water.
After lunch, Allyson took a little nap under our umbrella.
The Chateau on the Lake overlooks Moonshine Beach. On Memorial Day weekend and 4th of July they do fireworks from the hotel. After we were done swimming for the day we drove to the other side of the beach to set out our blankets and chairs and watch the fireworks.
