Allyson's Preschool Home Visit

Allyson is going to preschool this year. She is SO excited!! We are sending her to the same place where Nicole attended: Carpenter's Kids. It's a Christian school run by South Haven Baptist Church. (We also attend a VBS here every summer.) And we requested the same teacher, Mrs. Crabtree. We love this school.

The teacher's always do a home visit before school starts. I wish I taped Allyson's reaction when Mrs. Crabtree showed up. She flung open the front door and exclaimed, "MY TEACHER!" It was so precious.

Then she immediately showed Mrs. Crabtree the boo-boo on her finger (from touching a lightbulb). She then took her new teacher upstairs to show how she made her bed. She couldn't stop talking. (Of course, Nicole was also pretty excited to see Mrs. Crabtree again.)

Mrs. Crabtree brought a large folder for Allyson to decorate. We will keep her school projects in it. (We had one for Nicole, too.)

As Mrs. Crabtree drove away, I heard Allyson yell at the window "BYE TEACHER!" She was very upset thinking she hadn't said goodbye, although we had actually walked the woman to her car and everything. :)
